Hydrogen
Resources
Why Hydrogen?
- World oil and gas production cannot continue to meet rowing world wide energy demand.
- Peak Oil is the point where global oil and gas production begins to decline
- It is inevitable only timing is is debate
If we want energy we must
- Reduce demand substantially
- Find alternatives, preferably local.
- Or pay the price, if we can afford it.
Local hydrogen from renewable energy can replace imported fossil fuels. The more
remote the easier it becomes.
Technically it is easy. Financially it can be economic NOW with the right conditions.

What we can do for you
If you have any hydrogen aspirations ReGenTech offers to:
- Understand you aspirations, what why, when
- Develop the project conceptual thinking and justification
- Devise the technical solution
- Due diligence on project solutions offered by others
- Design Install Commission your H2 production, storage and control system
- System training and service support
- Advice and services in securing budget support
- Metering, data logging and performance logging
Simple Hydrogen facts
- Hydrogen is a £1b per year industry in the UK NOW
- Handled correctly it is safer than petroleum and gas
- Hydrogen is developing across the world today at an accelerating pace
- The biggest drawback is the volumetric energy density. It takes a lot of volume
for Hydrogen Storage
Hydrogen Sources
- Natural Gas, natural gas through steam reformation (95% current production)
- Electrolysis, electrical current breaks the H and O bonds in water H2O
- Industry by products, a by product in refineries, chlorine, and chemical products,
often flared
- Bio-gasses, hydrogen can be derived from anaerobic digestion methane gas.
- Photo-catalysis, is where the photons in direct sunlight breaks down the H2O molecular
bonds
- Photo synthesis, by copying the photosynthesis process hydrogen can be produced directly
from organisms
- World investment in hydrogen technologies is now in £billions.
